It's 8:48pm at night and I nearly forgot the challenge this week - oops.!

Booties for my new granchild.

My eldest daughter is expecting her second child in december and has asked me to pull out my knitting needles and make some booties for her. I love making these delicate little shoes from  patterns that my mother made for me, over 50  years ago, and also knitted for her own granchildren.Here is the first wave of booties, and now I have started, there will no doubt be a few more to come.

It's was a bit of a rush job this afternoon, as I was a bit side tracked by making booties for my daughter this week.
